Germany’s Cloud Top League
Sovereign cloud and AI, delivered today.
Six German cloud providers share one mission: digital sovereignty for Germany and Europe. Delos Cloud, IONOS CLOUD, Nextcloud, SAP, Schwarz Digits and T-Systems cover the sovereign full stack together, from cloud infrastructure and AI to business applications and collaboration. For us, digital sovereignty means choice and control, not closed doors. Together, we showcase that Germany and Europe don't just use technology, but they shape it: safe, sovereign and competitive.
DeepL SE
Breaking down language barriers for citizens and government agencies.
From government to banking, insurance, healthcare and public safety: wherever rules apply and trust matters, DeepL breaks down language barriers. In conversation and in documents. Precise, secure, sovereign.
Rohde & Schwarz Networks and Cybersecurity GmbH
Digital Sovereignty needs secure networks.
Rohde & Schwarz Networks and Cybersecurity empowers industry, public authorities and the defence sector with leading technologies to actively shape their digital sovereignty. In-house development and manufacture of sensitive hardware in Germany ensure uncompromising control, quality and reliability. Software development takes place entirely in Germany.
Rulemapping Group
Law as Code: AI That Can Be Tested Against the Law
For the government to use AI in a transparent and legally sound manner, the law itself must be available in digital form—readable by humans and analyzable by machines. The Rulemapping Group maps laws into “rulemaps” for this purpose: every requirement, every exception, and every legal consequence is listed individually and linked to its specific location in the law. Because AI operates according to this legal logic rather than probabilistically, every result can be traced back to the specific sentence in the law. The underlying file format, RUML, is open and not tied to any specific provider. At our booth, we’ll demonstrate how rule mapping and “Law as Code” can be applied in legislation and law enforcement.
Giesecke+Devrient Gruppe
Digital sovereignty starts with trust.
Digital sovereignty starts with trust. Under this motto, the Giesecke+Devrient Group (including secunet AG) presents four solutions that are playing a key role in shaping the future of digital sovereignty and artificial intelligence: How does money exist in the digital world? How are digital identities protected in the eSIM era? How can AI support the protection of identities and borders? How can AI and cloud technologies be used sovereignly for sensitive data?
Nextcloud GmbH
The market-leading sovereign workspace. Trusted by 3M public sector users in 17 governments.
Nextcloud is the world's leading privacy-focused open-source platform for digital collaboration. The software provides businesses and public administrations with a sovereign digital workspace and a European alternative to the offerings of major US technology companies.
With Nextcloud, organizations can securely store and share files, collaborate on documents, chat, hold video conferences, and manage emails and calendars. The platform is highly extensible and can be hosted on an organization's own infrastructure or through a trusted hosting provider. Organizations retain full control over their data and infrastructure.
Founded in Germany in 2016, Nextcloud is now used by tens of thousands of organizations worldwide. Its users include numerous European public authorities, ministries, and public institutions, such as the state administration of Schleswig-Holstein and the French Ministry of Education.
SAP SE
Sovereign Applied AI in practice
The booth embodies the core themes of digital sovereignty and AI by highlighting the collaboration between technology leaders. Data and applications are new key resource, the control of which must remain in our hands for economic and security policy purposes, just as coal and steel once were for industrial sovereignty.
Links directly to the Summit’s program by offering tangible examples of sovereign AI deployment in public administration and industry.
The exhibition supports the Canadian-German leadership role in shaping Europe’s digital future, aligning with Deutschlandstack and CAN-GER Sovereign Tech Alliance visions.
Directly connects to the Summit program by illustrating how AI advances state modernization, efficiency, and resilience in Germany, Canada and blueprint for other EU member states
Schwarz Digits KG
Schwarz Digits: Data Centers as the Backbone of Sovereignty.
Germany and Europe’s digital sovereignty starts with infrastructure. That is why a modern data center is being built in Lübbenau, right where coal once powered the grid. We showcase how a former power plant site is evolving into the backbone of digital sovereignty: equipped with cutting-edge technology and connected to the region by utilizing the resulting waste heat for the city.
Procure Ai GmbH
The agentic Public Procurement Automation Platform
Procure Ai presents its AI-native platform for public procurement automation. Connected AI agents support procurement and tendering teams throughout the procurement process – from purchasing requests through sourcing and tendering to operational execution. They automate time-consuming routine tasks, support compliance with defined procurement rules, and help prepare decisions. This streamlines processes, reduces manual workload, and frees up capacity for strategic activities.
IONOS Cloud GmbH
Cloud. Made in Germany. Sovereign by Design.
IONOS CLOUD stands for a cloud that truly drives Europe forward: with data centres in Germany and across Europe, subject to German jurisdiction, using open technologies and a platform developed in-house. Its offering ranges from the public cloud and scalable AI services to an air-gapped cloud – disconnected from the internet – for highly critical applications.
Deutsche Telekom AG
Sovereignty when it matters. Connect. Detect. Act.
Deutsche Telekom shows how secure and sovereign digital infrastructure, AI and applications help strengthen Germany's ability to act and to compete. The focus is on practical examples from civil security, municipal public services and industry.
Open Source Business Alliance
“Open Source Connects – Building a Digital Future with Open Components”
How can individual open-source components form a powerful digital infrastructure? At the joint exhibition stand of Open Source Business Alliance, Civitas Connect, Senatskanzlei Berlin and Technologiestiftung Berlin, visitors can explore this concept through an interactive marble run. The installation demonstrates how software components work together, how data flows between them and how new applications emerge.
At the heart of the exhibition is DataHub Berlin, currently being developed using CIVITAS/CORE and other open-source projects. The example illustrates how open technologies enable the reuse and transfer of digital solutions, reduce dependencies on individual vendors and lay the foundation for sovereign, data-driven public administration, including future AI applications.
Fraunhofer-Institut für Intelligente Analyse- und Informationssysteme (IAIS)
Sovereign Foundation Models from Europe: Agentic AI with Soofi
How does a European language model evolve into an AI that performs real work in businesses and public administrations, contributing to value creation? At the Fraunhofer booth at the Digital Summit, we offer a sneak peek. A live demo will show how AI agents built on Soofi break down complex tasks into individual steps, use digital tools, and deliver traceable results.
Soofi represents sovereign AI models developed in Germany. These models are developed by a consortium of research institutions and industry partners, and they are funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. The goal is for businesses and organizations to stay in control of their AI. With Soofi, businesses can run the models on their own infrastructure, keeping sensitive data in-house while tailoring the models to their specific terminology, processes, and requirements.
We show how digital sovereignty can move from a political goal to a real-world application for SMEs, industry, and public administration – and what it takes to get there. Talk to our experts about potential use cases.
