Germany needs digital infrastructure that can keep up with what the future demands. We are boosting competition and improving the framework for expanding fibre-optic and 5G networks.
We want high-performance mobile service and fibre-optic networks wherever people live, work or travel. Nationwide access to high-speed networks is essential for digital transformation in Germany and to keep our economy competitive globally.
To expand digital infrastructure, we are working on a legal framework that meets today’s challenges (telecommunications law and security) and on smart EU telecommunications and spectrum policy.
