The development of a European supply in digital markets such as cloud and AI is critical for a sovereign digital transition. Even with significant investments and policies of European public bodies supporting research, innovation and emerging digital industries, European firms can only scale up if they can operate and deploy their offerings in fair, open and efficient markets.
Regulatory tools, such as the DMA, represent a powerful leverage to ensure fair and contestable markets.
